After presiding over the longest running influential nightclub in Brooklyn urban nightlife & various other venues, founders Max & Gee turned their attention to the liquor store industry, which is not normally occupied by POC.
They founded Brooklyn Estates Fine wine & liquor store in 2017. Unsurprisingly, this is Canarsie’s first black owned liquor store.
With this endeavor, they seek to enhance the liquor shopping experience. You can expect weekly tastings and pairing recommendations. There’s a wall of faces art installation that pays homage to pioneers in our music culture, as well as, testimonies to the resiliencey of the Brooklyn spirit.
Managing to merge your shopping experience with our culture which influences all aspects of consumerism,
Uncle Nearest brand is a minority owned company dedicated to keeping the legacy alive of enslaved master distiller Uncle Nearest, the guy that “taught” Jack Daniels.
Rémy Martin Tercet is a Fine Champagne cognac like most of the Rémy Martin portfolio, meaning it is made using grapes sourced from both the Grande and Petite Champagne region in Cognac (with at least 50% coming from the Grande Champagne region). Tercet is so named because a trio of experts collaborated on its creation: Master Distiller Jean-Marie Bernard, winemaker Francis Nadeau, and Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau who identified the unique fruit-forward eaux de vie while he was still in training with the House of Rémy. Tercet is a permanent addition to the portfolio and is bottled at 42% ABV, the highest ABV of all existing Rémy Martin blends.
MACHETE red wine
A gothic mauve with a vivid neon rim, the wine appears almost black in the glass. Notes of wet stone, black plum and crushed gravel reverberate from within. Bold upfront, the palate is all-enveloping with mixed berry crepe, black licorice and a touch of char. Layered and omnipotent in weight, the wine finishes with ripe Petite Sirah tannins, providing a pleasant closing texture.
CINCORO blanco
created by Michael Jordan and a group of four other NBA team owners with a specific goal: “to create the new gold standard for the spirit.”
The collection includes four different 100% agave tequilas which, unusually, use a blend of agave from the Highland and Lowland regions. The insanely overarchitected bottles stand over 17 inches tall and they aren’t cheap, with prices for the extra anejo running a whopping $1600 per bottle.
Cincoro Tequila Blanco – Pungent and peppery on the nose, this unaged expression is a powerhouse that demands your immediate attention — showcasing a strong undercurrent of mushroom counterbalanced by clear notes of hibiscus and raspberry. A light creaminess on the palate helps to temper some of the spice, with notes of cinnamon and Mexican chocolate quickly gaining prominence. An intense earthiness builds as the initial notes of spice begin to fade, the body presenting as chewy and rounded, with an unavoidable, peppery edge. On the finish, a gentle sweetness acts as a nice foil to the racy, spicy character on the palate, with more chocolate lingering on the fade-out. Really engaging and worthwhile stuff that drinks with far more complexity than the typical blanc
DON JULIO 1942 Anejo
Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey. Warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave flavors lead into a lingering oak and rich vanilla finish for a luxurious tequila recognized by connoisseurs around the globe. Aged in small batches for 2 and a half years, our añejo tequila is made with 100% Blue Weber Agave Plant that is ready for any celebration. Simply serve neat in a snifter or on the rocks for a classic and simple drink. Includes one 80 proof 750ml bottle of 1942 Añejo Tequila. Don Julio tequila is produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, one of the country's most fertile agave-growing regions. The microclimate and mineral-rich clay soil allow the blue agave plant to flourish. Each bottle of Don Julio tequila is produced here and features our NOM number - our seal of authenticity - signifying where the tequila was made. Unlike many other distilleries, La Primavera only produces our ultra-premium tequila that is crafted with the same attention to detail and passion that founder Don Julio González embodied.
BELAIRE RARE ROSE
The Belaire winery started in 1898, and since then it has been ensured that the delicate cuvee is the same recipe and signature of the house year after year. They are, after all the originator of sparkling wine in France and it is said by some that this region represents the beginnings of all rose wine.
This Belaire Rosé is crafted by the talented hands with a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, creating a wine of fresh, alive and vibrant character. The Grenache is known to give body to a wine and add notes of lovely rich berry fruits; blackberry and cassis and currant. The Cinsault imparts a lightness to the blend and perfumed aromatics of additional red fruits to add an elegance. The Syrah adds a beautiful color and rounds out the lovely fruits with a touch of savory characteristics.
